Heterodontosaurus stock image
Heterodontosaurus was one of the earliest known ornithischian dinosaurs, being found in Lower Jurassic rocks in South Africa. Heterodontosaurus and its close kin had fang like teeth just behind a beak, followed by chisel-shaped cheek teeth.
